My Apologies

Apparently, I have offended some with my last blog post. Let me just say a couple of things:

-I genuinely want to believe that most people in opposition to the mosque are not coming from a place of anger and bigotry. But every side of the issue I have heard on that side of the argument, it comes back to one of those two things. If you can find an argument that does, please share it with me!

- I have looked at multiple sides of this issue. It took me days to write my last blog entry because I studied the words and labored over the words to try and put it so it wouldn't offend. I guess I need to work at it more next time.

-To whoever it was (I don't post anonymous comments on my blog, good, bad or otherwise) that said it was a put off to put political issues on my personal blog, let me say this: I don't have small children (or big ones for that matter) about whose adventures and misdeeds I can blog. I don't get to write about a husband who snores to loudly or a pet dog who eats my new favorite shoes. I am one person, doing my best to make it in the world. You are welcome to not visit my blog anymore if I have offended you. I sincerely apologize if I have offended you, it was not my intent. But these are the things that matter to me.

to annoymous person who i am sure is going to read this - be nice. Shari can post whatever she wants, it is HER place to say whatever she wants and not yours to be rude.

to Shari who i am sure is going to read this - keep writing what you want. if someone got their feelings hurt or was offended, too bad. don't not write what you want just because you are afraid of how someone elses feelings might be hurt.

the end.

I'm with hairyshoefairy on this one. When people get in my face on my blog (and it happens occassionally; I'm not talking about reasonable discussion and different points of view, I'm talking about the kind of stuff you would NEVER say personally to someone), I just remind myself that if I frustrate them that badly then they should just move on.

I LOVED your post. Loved. Loved. Loved. You were reasonable, kind, logical and so spot on.
