So, last night, I went on a sort-of-date. My home teacher Ed had talked to me before about lining me up with his nephew. Originally, Ed was going to bring Justin with him home teaching last night. Well, I was sitting at my desk yesterday (I was actually working, not blogging in the middle of the day like I am right now) and Ed called me and said that they wanted to go to dinner for home teaching and wanted to know if I was up for that. I told him I have been known to eat on occasion and am generally a much more pleasant person for it. So, Ed and his wife Trish picked me up and then we went and got Justin and went to Chilis.
OMG- I had the best salad! If you ever go to Chilis, order the Quesadilla Explosion Salad. So, so, so tasty. The picture doesn't do it justice. It has fajita grilled chicken, tomatoes, tortilla strips, a blend of cheeses, corn relish- so many tasty things. Plus, they have this citrus dressing that you put on it that is TDF. I cannot say enough good things about this salad- plus, it is a huge salad, so I will be eating it for lunch today.
I had a grand time at dinner- the conversation was great. It was really relaxed and fun- no shortage of things to talk about. Lots of laughing and storytelling- somehow I managed to tell about people thinking I was a boy when I was little because of my short hair and how I thought Fred was my middle name whe I was about 6 and how I lived in fear during junior high because I told off a big mean girl for making fun of my mom.
Good food, good times- it was great!

Glad you had fun! Will it turn into a real date?
Don't know. When we dropped Justin back off at his hotel (he's working on the temple during the week and then goes home to Rexburg on the weekends), I told him to call me if he ever got bored or tired of staring at guys' faces all the time and he said "yeah, we'll do something". However, I don't know how much stock I put in that phrase.
